I was looking for something somewhat equidistant from Jacksonville FL (eldest daughter), Raleigh NC (middle daughter and eldest son), and Clarinda IA (parents/siblings).

If I go to Memphis I won't be in the city proper, probably a little north. NAS is in Millington for the retiree features, plus I sort of know my way around the place having been there twice for school.

Thanks for dropping by!Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11308171394825291900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35333449.post-23875468823370669642013-12-20T13:16:17.601-05:002013-12-20T13:16:17.601-05:00Larry- followed you over from AoS. Re: the Memphis...Larry- followed you over from AoS. Re: the Memphis move, I'd look at Nashville instead. Shelby County, TN is the crime-ridden rectum of our beautiful state, and even the suburbs aren't all that great.

Clarksville (5th, about to be 4th) biggest city in TN is an hour north of Nashville on the Kentucky border, and here there's Fort Campbell to exploit for all the usual retiree features.
