Navy Master At Arms Petty Officer Second Class (SEAL) Micheal A. Monsoor, who was mentioned in this post, will be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for services rendered on September 29, 2006.LCBrendan at Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler notes that none of the news networks, save Fox News, saw fit to mention this. No one is surprised.
This will be the fourth MOH awarded during the Global War on Terror. The others were awarded to SGT First Class Paul R. Smith USA, CPL Jason L. Dunham USMC, and LT Michael P. Murphy USN.
