You know, if they would stop pretending he's a *journalis* and admit what he really is, a leftwing pundit, this wouldn't be a problem.
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving person, IMHO.On the other hand, anytime you willfully break a rule you have agreed to (in writing, no less!) you deserve to have your butt handed to you.
