Here in NC the State Health Plan board of trustees has voted to raise insurance premiums on some state retirees.
Retirees. Those who served the State under the promise of future benefits.
Yet another example of how much value government promises have.
(Note that the premium increases were brought about by changes in Federal regulations.)
