I was going to join up with Range Partner this morning to manufacture some smoke and noise, but one look at the forecast with the wind chill spelled an end to those plans. Just as well I guess, last night at work was one of those "drink yourself to sleep and forget it ever happened" kind of nights.
Here's hoping tonight goes better.

I've had that happen. In SW MO, it's more common than not. We usually have half a dozen really nice days--not too hot or too cold, nor yet too rainy or windy--scattered over the course of the year. They are rarely consecutive, and almost never in spring or fall.
I suppose if I lived in Misery I'd want to drink myself to sleep a lot more often. ;)
(Born and raised in Iowa, I've been thrown out of Missouri more times than most folks have been there.)
