wasn't the 1st thing I noticed. Might have been the 2nd or 3rd though.
At one time...not awfully long ago...I wouldn't have noticed it at all. I didn't really get into shooting until a couple of years ago.

I noticed it was an AK pattern because it looks a lot like my Saiga .223, but I didn't know which particular one.

She should have shooting glasses on, proper safety equipment is essential.
And hearing protection, but at least she doesn't have to worry about the hot brass going down her shirt.
