I just dropped 2K on dental work and now I'm being told there's another almost 6K to do.
I wonder how much it would be to just let them all fall out and get the kind you keep in a glass beside the bed at night?
I told the doc unless he wanted to do it for free it is going to have to wait for a while. There's other things I want. Like food and shelter.

Ask him how much it'll cost to get unbreakable titanium teeth like Jaws had in those old 007 movies.
That would be cool...
No it's not, but it certainly beats the alternative.
Thanks for dropping by Forger!
Part 1, Monday morning: 7:45AM
Topped off by the rest of the day at work
At least I'll be in good shape for afternoon meetings...

Good luck Q, I'm beginning to really dislike periodontists. Thanks for dropping by!
Thanks for dropping by to you, too, V-man.
I had several broken teeth (bad guy got a one up on my jaw). They didn't show, but they still needed crowns. I finally decided to do it, three crowns, two filling replacements and a good gum cleaning at the periodontist The bill was over $5000. I hadn't been to a dentist in about 10 years so YOZER!
I had full dental insurance through Blue Cross (separate policy I paid for myself). It paid so little I figured it would have been cheap to NOT have it and put the premium money in the bank. One procedures was $197, it's an allowable, covered procedure, I went to their doctor, and they paid $9.
But like you, I waited for years, just not wanting to spend the money.
Owww! Mine is just pure neglect.
About the only thing my dental "insurance" covers is semi-annual checkups, so yeah it's probably cheaper to just put your money in the bank. Problem is, it's one of my "benefits" at work, I certainly hope they're not paying a lot for the premiums.
Too bad I couldn't have gotten all this done while I was still active duty...
Thanks for dropping by Brigid!
